45 Gallon Drum

Once the two cones were ready, I started to build the frame that later will be inserted into the drum. I used wood reinforced with 2mm aluminum sheet squares, fixed with screws. Later I made a ring 2" larger than the cone ring. This ring was made of 1¼" BWG#16 galvanized steel strip and hand curved, but later I needed to replace it because it wasn't stiff enough. I used three small wood blocks fixed with masking tape as temporary supports for the ring.
