The first photo shows how I assemble my cups and the snooker balls I used as pinions. I used these because that's what David had used in his first machine. The cups were assembled by using stainless steel soup ladles cut down ¾ of an inch and set in 3 inch PVC pipe cut to ¾ inch widths. In photo two shows my use of wood chips for filler and Elmer's glue to hold the cups in place. Number three shows my base for the cups which was cut pieces of plastic pop riveted and glued to the shoulders. Fourth one shows the cups in place on top of the first cone and the guide bars to keep all the cones lined up when I began stacking them.
