David used multiple rows of magnets in his proto type as shown in his book. I decided to try the same not really knowing how many magnets he used in his original. There wasn't enough room for the magnets in the top so I used my larger magnets for this helping me to get more lift for each cone. The second shows my home made hoist to lift the cones in place. I had no help of any kind while doing this project. Matter of fact no one in town knew what I was doing and then I didn't know anyone in town anyway. The third one shows putting the bottom and top structure pieces together using again my design to hold it all together and provide a means to attach the skin later. The fourth are the ribs specially cut to hold the outer magnets and provide support for the upper board.
